This Privacy Policy explains what information the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce (“the Chamber,” “we” or “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to everyone who visits the site or fills out one of its forms.
What information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us when you fill out a form on this website, plus some basic information about your visit.

How we use your information
- To answer your questions and messages;
- To process membership applications and renewals, and to keep our member records;
- To publish your business’s listing in our online directory, if you’re a member;
- To coordinate volunteers for Chamber events;
- To send Chamber news to members and to people who ask to receive it;
- To see which pages are visited, so we can improve the website.
What we publish in the business directory
When a membership is approved, the listing details you send us (business name, logo, description, category, phone number, website and address) appear in the public business directory on this website. We don’t display member email addresses. Visitors contact a business through a form, and the message is emailed to the business.
Who we share your information with
We share information only as needed to run this website and the Chamber’s programs:
- Businesses in our directory: if you use a listing’s contact form, your name, email address and message go to that business.
- Service providers: the companies that host this website and deliver its emails process information on our behalf.
- Payment processor: when online payment is available, card payments are handled by our payment processor. We don’t see or store your full card number.
- When required by law: we may share information if the law requires it.
Our visitor analytics run on this website itself, not through an outside advertising or analytics company.
Sale of your information
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. This website uses cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, to protect its forms from spam, and to count visits. We don’t use advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
